FOR SOFTWARE VENDORS AND AFFILIATE TEAMS
Partner With Us
Contractor Software Finder helps small contractors and their office teams make informed software choices, from identifying a workflow gap to preparing a vendor demo.
Who we are building for
Our initial audience focus is owners, operations managers and office teams at small contracting businesses in the United States and Canada researching software for quoting, scheduling, invoicing, project coordination and administration. This is our editorial target market, not a claim about measured visitor locations.
Trade-specific buying guides cover HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscaping, painting, remodeling and general contracting. We distinguish service-call workflows from longer construction projects and supporting tools such as accounting or photo records.
That focus gives relevant vendors a place in practical buying research, rather than a generic list of software offers. We confirm applicant eligibility, supported markets and audience requirements with each program before activating a partnership.
A practical route to vendor evaluation
- Find relevant options. Trade guides and the Software Finder quiz connect documented workflow, trade and business-size needs to potential matches.
- Compare alternatives. Visitors choose their own products for side-by-side comparisons and save a personal shortlist with notes.
- Prepare an informed conversation. The cost calculator uses visitor-entered quotes. Demo checklists capture requirements and answers; trial plans record tasks, evidence and decisions.
- Evaluate directly with the vendor. Profiles offer official-website links and verified trial or demo destinations where available. These are opportunities to evaluate a product, not guarantees of qualified leads or sales.
Shortlist and evaluation notes stay in the visitor’s browser. They are not submitted to vendors or passed in referral URLs. Recorded decisions are visitor notes, not independently verified recommendations.
Our promotion approach
Our focus is independent website content: trade-specific buying guides, product profiles and user-selected comparisons. Organic search is part of our promotion strategy. We share audience and conversion figures only when supported by measured results. Paid advertising and email campaigns are not included in this partnership proposal.
After program approval, relevant editorial links could use approved referral destinations with nearby affiliate disclosures. Tracking, permitted promotion methods and supported markets would follow the agreed program terms.
We do not promise traffic, referrals or conversion volumes. No approved affiliate relationship is claimed by inclusion in the directory.
Editorial independence
We include useful specialist options whether or not a publisher affiliate program has been confirmed. Inclusion is not an approved partnership or a complete market review. Matching uses documented workflow, trade and business-size fit, not affiliate status or commission rates.
Participation does not guarantee coverage, a favourable assessment or placement above another product. Editorial comparisons discuss limitations rather than guarantee a best product. Paid relationships are disclosed alongside relevant links.
Our current profiles are vendor-researched overviews, not hands-on product tests. Any future testing will be identified accurately. Product claims, plan limits and pricing remain subject to verification.
Product information and evaluation access
Current documentation, product walkthroughs and legitimate evaluation access can help us understand a contractor workflow. Supporting information is reviewed before an editorial update; a submission does not automatically change or publish a listing.
Logos, screenshots and other supplied media must include clear reuse permission and any required attribution. We do not present illustrations as product screenshots.
What a partnership discussion should establish
- Product website, supported countries, suitable trades and business sizes.
- Current pricing, billing commitments, user allowances, add-ons and implementation charges.
- Official trial or demo URLs, eligibility, renewal conditions and cancellation terms.
- Integration documentation and workflow limitations.
- Publisher eligibility, commission rules, attribution window, qualifying events, reversals, payout terms and promotional restrictions.
- Written reuse permissions for supplied logos, screenshots or other media.
Any relationship remains subject to program approval and agreement on permitted promotional methods.
